Eurail B.V.

PR and Communications Intern

Our Team

We advocate for the positive impact travelling can have in the world. We are Eurail and we have all the stops to take our customers’ curiosity further. To be more precise: there are more than 30,000 destinations in Europe ready to be discovered with one Pass.

If we are going to inspire the world, then we need the right people around us. We are proud of our culture at Eurail. We're a diverse team (49 nationalities!) of talented and passionate colleagues who have a real curiosity for the world around them. We like thinkers and do-ers, and people that ask a lot of questions.

We strive to ensure that all of our people have the chance to innovate, influence and grow. With our international and passionate team (based in Utrecht and working from home), we believe that creative thinking and diversity help to improve our brands and ultimately create a unique and repeatable experience for our customers.

We’re on the search for…

As an intern with creative flair, you’ll help us further improve and execute our communications strategy and grow brand awareness for Eurail.  As part of the PR and Communications team, you will ensure inspiration, consistency, and a targeted approach across PR and communications activities. Combining both online and offline activities, you’ll support with (social) media engagement on a pan-European and global level with journalists and influencers. Keeping track of coverage and referrals and reporting on the results and impact of activities are central to the role. Occasionally you will be asked to help-out with internal communication tasks as well. As part of a diverse collaborative and international environment your ideas and experience will be valued just as much as your ability to get things done.

 What you’ll be doing

  • Support the development and execution of our PR and Communications strategy and campaigns to help bring our vision and values to life
  • Co-operate with colleagues across the organisation to align plans and activities to ensure an integrated approach
  • Optimise PR monitoring tools and regular reporting to evaluate performance and analyse results, measure and report performance of the PR outreach and coverage against measurable KVIs and targets in order to continuously improve our outreach efforts
  • Support with press and influencer trips arrangements, from the initial selection to the planning and execution phase and post-trip retrospective
  • Support with the development and maintenance of B2C and B2B PR & Communications materials, e.g. standard media Q&A, fact sheets, press kits, images & video assets, inspirational content, etc.
  • Support with the set-up and coordination of both small- and large-scale campaigns and initiatives with institutional clients
