Executive & Senior Leadership Assistant

Are you an Executive Assistant with experience of supporting a senior leadership team? Do you thrive in a diverse, international environment?  We’re looking for an Executive Assistant with excellent planning skills who can take care of many diverse tasks in an efficient way, in an environment which can be quite chaotic. You are not afraid to challenge senior colleagues, or work in an environment with changing priorities, while dealing with internal and external stakeholders. You are proactive, organised, discrete and able to prioritize and solve problems quickly and efficiently, with attention to detail.

We’re on the search for…

In this role, you will support the CEO of Eurail and the Leadership Team, supporting them in focusing on key priorities, maximising their efficiency, offering a reliable experience to all colleagues through excellent planning and co-ordinating of necessary meetings, timely invites, and accurate administration.

You will achieve these goals through the following activities:

  • Provide personal assistance to the CEO and the 5 members of the Eurail Leadership Team (LT)
  • Manage the LTs agendas
  • Support the Office Manager with arranging the Supervisory Board meetings (4 per year) and Full Assembly meetings (2 per year - international event), including but not limited to liaising with hotels, hospitality providers, and arranging transport
  • Chairing and managing the agenda of the weekly Leadership Team meeting
  • Taking minutes of the LT meetings, making sure actions points are picked up by the various team members
  • Support the LT with small tasks if and when required
  • Other ad hoc, administrative tasks to support the Leadership team

  • Salary Scale: 59, Monthly gross salary (excluding 8% allowance): € 3312 - 4500 based on experience. 

What we’re looking for in you

In terms of your experience and strengths, we’re looking for; 

  • Strong organisational skills displayed by the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial, with the ability to creatively think out of the box and not afraid of taking the lead and act independently.
  • Hands-on, proactive and willing to go the extra mile in supporting senior management.
  • Flexible in your way of working, and able to change priorities as needed
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Multi-cultural mindset is a must. Experience working within an international environment is beneficial
  • Fluency in English for both written and verbal communication is a must. Knowledge of Dutch beneficial.
  • Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role
