Your challenge

As our Procurement Intern you will focus on the build and setup of our contract and supplier management capability. With support from our Procurement Manager, you will propose a set up and build up based on theoretical best practices and tailored to the Eurail organisation. You will assist the procurement manager with:

  • Documenting supplier management processes, incl. roles and responsibilities matrix;
  • Documenting contract management processes, roles and responsibilities;
  • Propose a build and set up of a contract management tooling, based on input collected from business stakeholders;
  • Upload contracts in the tool;
  • Creating introduction training on new processes for colleagues;
  • Take part in tenders and contract negotiations.

You are the (Procurement intern) we are looking for if you have the following characteristics:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facility Management (minor Procurement Management) or in similar field
  • Enrolled at a university for the full duration of the internship.
  • Studied Contract management and supplier management principles.
  • Experience in setting up contracts, designing processes and managing supplier relations is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in both Dutch and English
  • Feel at home in an online environment.
