(hereinafter: “Eurail”), processes privacy-sensitive data or personal data, and uses cookies. Eurail deems careful handling of personal data very important. Personal data are therefore carefully processed and secured by us in accordance with the requirements for the processing of personal data laid down in the European privacy legislation. In our processing activities, we comply with privacy law requirements. Processing of personal data By using our Easycruit, you leave certain data with us, including personal data. We only store and use personal data that are provided directly by you or which are clearly provided to us for processing purposes. We will not use the personal data for any other purposes, unless you have given your prior consent thereto. When you apply for a vacancy, we will ask you to provide some personal data to us. After you have applied to a vacancy, an account is created to keep you up-to-date about our application procedure and to offer you the option to continue with a saved application. You can register the account at the final phase of our application process. When you apply for a vacancy via our website Easycruit, we will process the following personal data: • First name and surname; • Gender (optional); • Date of birth (optional); • Nationality (optional); • E-mail address; • Telephone number; • Address details (optional); • Country; • CV; • Education and Experience; • Courses and Skills; • Cover letter • IP-address; • Cookie ID; • Clicking and surfing behaviour; • Pre-employment screening; • Assessment reports; • Correspondence with applicant; • Availability, salary indication; • Social media account: LinkedIn, XING, Facebook or Viadeo (optional). Processing purposes We process your personal data for the following purposes: • to give access to our website https://eurail.easycruit.com; • to enable you to apply to one of our vacancies; • to enable preparation of the employment contract; • to create an account to keep you up-to-date about our application procedure and to offer you the option to continue with a saved application; • to analyse statistics and optimise the website; • to make the internet offer more interesting for you by displaying advertisements that fit your interests; • to make it possible for you to upload your social media accounts (LinkedIn, XING, Facebook, Viadeo, Dropbox, or Google Drive); • to make it possible for you to share (one of) our webpages via the different social media channels or follow us via Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram. Retention periods The following retention periods apply to personal data provided by you (including your CV), while applying to one of our vacancies: • if we end up hiring you, we will store your personal data for as long as you work for us and will erase your personal data (provided by you within the application procedure) two years post-employment; • if we end up hiring you, we will store fiscally relevant data seven years post-employment. This is in accordance with Dutch fiscal law. • if we don’t end up hiring you, we will erase your personal data within six months after the ending of your application procedure unless we have requested consent from you to store your personal data longer because of a potential suitable function that may become available on a later moment. In this last salutation, we will store your personal data for a maximum of one year after having obtained your consent. Personal data collected for other purposes, will not be stored longer than necessary in order to achieve the purposes as named within this privacy- and cookie statement. This, unless Eurail must observe a longer statutory retention period based on a legal obligation. Social media accounts During your application procedure you have the option to use information from your social media profiles, such as your profile picture, name, gender, date of birth, email-address, current employment. Confidentiality & provision to third parties We will handle your personal data confidential. We will not provide your data to third parties for direct marketing purposes by such parties. Nor will we provide the data provided by you to third parties, if you have not given your consent, unless this is necessary for performing the agreement you have concluded with us or is required by law.
